A year or so ago I had been exchanging messages with Duane Allen (the lead singer and president of The Oak Ridge Boys) thru the site Linked In and he said they were looking for songs with the theme "Mama's Boys", so I wrote a song about my own dear mother and gave it an old time Country flavor and sent it to Mr. Allen. I always hoped he passed on it only because they had a lot of submissions. So here it is for you to enjoy.
